Our Classes
Acro
Learn the basics or work on advancing your skills in Acro class. Acro is not the typical tumbling or gymnastics class. Instructors will guide the class towards increased flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, discipline and concentration. This class will focus on fundamental acrobatic technique, teaching such skills as handstands, chin stands, elbow stands, cartwheels, back bends, walkovers, balance and contortion tricks, all each student's individual level of experience.
Ballet
Ballet study is a very disciplined art, and requires students to be focused and attentive in the classroom environment. Much detail is placed on the body, as accurate placement is a necessity for this form of dance. Because of Ballet's intensity in the areas of body placement (back, shoulders, arms, abdominal muscles, hips, legs, etc.), it is truly the foundation for all studies of dance. Strength is built differently by each student, and occurs over a period of time. Dancers will not receive immediate gratification, but those who work diligently will achieve success over their course of study. It is a recommended class for all dancers and anyone wishing to become more graceful, more poised and more coordinated. This is also an excellent class for budding athletes and/or gymnasts who wish to have an edge over the competition.
Cheer
Whether you would like to compete or just have fun in the program, there is a class for you. In our cheer classes, we focus on jumps, motions, performance, stunting and tumbling. Cheer classes work on preparing you for cheer tryouts in the future as well as learning teamwork and execution of skills.
Clogging
Clogging is a high energy form of dance, similar to tap. Clogging is a type of folk dance practised in the United States, in which the dancer's footwear is used percussively by striking the heel, the toe, or both against a floor or each other to create audible rhythms, usually to the downbeat with the heel keeping the rhythm.

Stretch & Technique
Tap
Tap dance is essentially making rhythmical percussion sounds using your feet. To enhance the noise being produced metal plates are screwed onto a tap dancers shoes. A shoe with a wide heel is generally best for this. Sound is then made by tapping the balls or heels onto a hard wooden or similar surface to create a 'tapping' sound.
Twirling
Baton Twirling is a fun and exciting art form. Beginning students will work on the fundamentals of twirling and those continuing will work on advancing their skills and move to multiple batons. We teach dance along with the twirling and as a result we teach what is called Dance Twirl. Dance Twirl is continuous footwork with baton work. This is very good for the coordination of the entire body.
